Good Film - Ballayya is Back with "Simha"

Verdit - Good and decent film.  Fans will be happy with BALLAYYA Stunts and Dailogues.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is back with his Telugu film “Simha”.  After a long time, we have a film with all the integrants that Ballayya film has.  The direction by Boyapati Srinivas is Superb and much credited must be given to the way the director has molded the role of the hero.  Few things which are highlight of this film are:
  • Ballayya – Perfection to the every frame – that is what I can say, about Ballayya acting in this film.  Played the dual role without any antics or over acting.  Dialogue delivery is very simple and sharp.  Dancing is OK.  But it’s the serious of the character which has been played well.  Not a single frame, dialogue or action is overboard.  Ballayya is perfect in doctor role. There are some roles which only Ballayya can do in Telugu Industry and he has again proved that with this film.
  • Boyapati Srinivas – First film was perfect.  Second film was OK but with flaws.  But with this film, Boyapati can put into top league of telugu directors.  The greatest about the direction is that the film is well planned, simple and accurate.  From starting to the ending, the director has the grip on the story, actors and technical aspects.  More credit must be given to the director for the Ballayya acting which has no tamashas, jatkas or overacting.  Ballayya is good looking; dialogue delivery is perfect and straight.
  • Stunts – After Hero and director, it is the stunts which will be talked about in the film.  Stunts means not Hollywood type or Hong Kong type.  This film has stunts which are regional and very native to our locality.  Every shot is typically a “Village type beating” which you rarely see in films now a days.  Ballayya is perfect in performing these stunts.  Much credit must be given to the stunt master and camera work for perfect picturizing them.  Back ground for the stunts is good.
  • Dialogue – is good in the film when compared to other Ballayya films.  They are very short but convey the message and seriousness of the scene very well.  Ballayya dialogue delivery is excellent.
  • Photography – is good especially in the second half of the film.  Action sequences were picturized excellently.
  •  Dressing and Makeup – Very Good, specially Balllayya’s.  But too much of jewellery for Nayanatara
  • Story – Overall story is OK but is very loose with no turns and twists in the second half.
  • Music – I have not heard the audio but on screen, the songs are OK with good mass beat.  Chakri needs to work up little more.
  • Editing – is perfect which gives depth to the sequence and the running of the film.
  • Heriones – Namitha and Nayanatara have performed their roles well but instead of Sneha Ullal, any other heroine would be better

Plus:
  • Boyapati Srinivas direction
  • Ballayya acting and dialogue delivery
  • Stunts are great
  • Photography and Backgound music is excellent
  • Editing is good.

Minus:
  • Music to some extent. No catcy songs except two songs.
  • Story is straight and simple
  • No comedy track and comedians are mostly wasted
